AR’s FW12 Women’s Collection took a cue from the neon glow of the city and its towering skyscrapers. The garments reflect the thrilling heartbeat of the city at night, using sheer and airy materials like satin, crepe and silk chiffon, to create elegant and feminine movements full of energy. On the whole, the collection has grown, with the outerwear pieces calling for luxurious lamb leather, fox fur and shearling, all adding dramatic volume and rich texture to the looks. The garments remained centered around classic colors such as black, white, beige and grey, although a dash of ruby red and fuchsia were infused into the line to reflect the neon hues of the collections theme.

FADE LONG JACKET
Constructed from genuine fox fur, this jacket is hand dip-dyed to achieve a beautiful gradation from light grey to midnight blue. The sleeves are slightly bell shaped, giving the piece easy movement over inner layers and gloves during the winter months. The lightweight fur and compact fit give it a wide range of styling possibilities, from effortlessly throwing it over a daily jeans style, to a glitzy night out style over a glamorous dress.

LEATHER FIT CHINO PANTS
The silhouette of these pants is slightly fitted, drawing a slim-straight line for a clean and relaxed style. They are made from a rare luxury, stretch bonded leather, which is exclusively made by a single French textile house. The smooth and soft texture of the calf leather adds an edgy twist to the collection, contrasting with the airy pieces made of silk and chiffon.

VERY FRENCH BLOUSE
The classy color composition of the matte black cuffs, collar, and tie with the slight sheen off white body will never go out of the style! IT makes this Very French Blouse one of the key pieces of the collection, reflecting the "glow of the city at night" theme.  Made of slinky silk, this blouse has a soft and smooth touch against the skin. 

DOUBLE FACE CASHMERE COAT
The Double Face Cashmere Coat features a special AR original textile that is extremely warm and relaxed. The coat was designed to be a easy lightweight layer, and contrasting colors were used on either side of the fabric to accentuate its clean and timeless design. The silhouette took a cue from men’s tailoring, but a feminine touch was added with the deep collar line opening. The technique to create this special fabric is hand stitched by traditional craftsman in Japan.
