2K is for people who are bored with the market and merchandise that has been controlled by mega mass-marketing brands. They have become determined to introduce the best and most unique artworks and artists to the global youth culture network through t-shirts that they recognize as one of the most informative mediums. In the early 90's, fashion boutiques in Japan began to carry many museum and popular art design t-shirts. They thought they could compliment this trend by researching museums throughout the world but found only "One Size Fits All" kind of garments. It was becoming more difficult to find contemporary cutting edge |
designs which brought them to start working with a variety of "new" artists and design sources to produce 2K's own art and sub-culture image t-shirt line. They carefully and seriously research garments, fabrics, cuts, and details to customize their merchandise. Now 2K can be found not only in Japan, but North America and Europe as well.

5+1_Annapurna: The history of Italy’s finest cashmere knitwear is also the story of Annapurna S.p.A. in Prato. Since its foundation in 1978, the company whose name reminds us of a place in the Himalayan mountains, has been benefiting from an exceptionally favorable blend of knowledge and skill. Annapurna S.p.A. owes its impressive growth and leading position in the high-grade cashmere trade to the intuition of Mrs. Aida Barni. She is one of those enterprising women who have committed themselves, and their name, solely to the philosophy and achievement of top quality. Primarily, Annapurna’s production uses only double-threaded worsted cashmere imported |
from the Himalayas that is extremely and subtly twisted to create a softer, more resistant and more elastic yarn than conventional single-threaded cashmere. Use of the topmost cashmere, unique design and wide color palette has earned Annapurna a reputation for luxurious Italian knitwear. 5+1 Annapurna is a new line presented by Annapurna S.p.A. strong codes for the brand: the shirt for woman, the Liberty and the crepon fabrics quickly became must-haves in ready-to-wear. After the success of the crepon fabric which released the woman's body in the 60's, influence from the hippy movement brought Romanticism as illustrated by the Liberty, a fresh cotton fabric for fresh well-behaved children with little flowers in soft watercolur hues. In the early 70's, it became the symbol of an entire generation. Liberty blouses, dreses, and skirts appeared, it was a greate success for Cacharel.

Chloe: The house of Chloe was founded in 1952 by Jacques Lenoir and Gaby Aghion. Chic, sensual and unmistakably French, Chloe immediately established itself as a house that celebrated a softer aesthetic. Although Chloe was helmed by different designers in its history, they stayed true to the concept of romantic, feminine fashion. In October of 2006, Swedish designer Paulo Melim Andersson joined Chloe as Creative Director and made his debut with Chloe fall 2007 collection. Andersson, a graduate of both the famed Central Saint Martins andthe Royal College of Art in London, spent 7 years at Marni as design director before coming to Chloe. There is no doubt |
that he brought dramatic changes to the Chloe's design legacy of past few years, by adding essence of edgy styling rather than the romantic quirkiness.

Commuun: Established in 2005 by Kaito Hori and Iku Furudate, Commuun debuted with their Spring Summer 2006 collection. Commuun has constantly enjoyed a strong critical acclaim among some of the most highly-regarded stores in the world. The core idea of all collections is drawn from the structural aspect of nature, with its balance and tensions. Commuun’s work aims at reconstructing these features through simple but strong shapes and fine detailing. This fundamental approach is also reflected in the exclusive use of natural and organic fabrics for the collection. Before each collection, a detailed research is undertaken in order to determine the most adequate |
fabrics to work with. Once carefully chosen, the materials are further refined through the use of the traditional French pattern cutting technique to create clothes of long-lasting quality, balance and functionality. Commuun's garments are best-known for their simple and well-tailored patterns reinforced by futuristic details. In 2007, Commuun was awarded LVMH prize and Longchamp prize for A.N.D.A.M. awards.

Givenchy: Is Riccardo Tisci one of his kind? Most definitely. Probably because what best characterises the path taken by the new Creative Director at Givenchy is the result of an interaction of phenomena which are atypical. From the very outset his life, there has been a succession of unusual events and choices. At the age of 17, the young teenager, originally from Taranto in the deep south of Italy, nonetheless let go of their apron strings and bravely left his country to begin studying design at the Saint Martin School of Arts in London. After graduating with honours from the famous English institution, he returned to Italy and worked for almost five years in the shadows |
of brands such as Antonio Berardi, Coccapani, Puma and Ruffo Research. In September 2004 he presented his first collection under his own name. A feeling of new elegance, innovative savoir-faire and modern chic now seems to be the guideline for his pertinent interpretation of the Givenchy spirit- the French couture house to which the Italian is dedicating himself completely.
