From one of Kitsuné Music's world famous djs. Kitsuné's first ready to wear collection was launched by Masaya Kuroki in 2005 at the Paris venue Palais de Tokyo. Kuroki focuses on timelessness defining the new classic with distinguished clothing of the highest quality for everyday life. "In architecture, professionals spend more time working on the structures, the foundation and the materials before studying the outlook. This is how I work on the clothing..." explains Kuroki. "I'm not trying to create something new but to master the standards." Born in 1975 in Tokyo, Kuroki moved to Paris at the age of 12. The result of his Franco-Japanese upbringing and his architectural studies, Kuroki was obsessed by style of quality, pure lines and sharp details. He has gracefully switched from one creative field to another and has brought to fashion design an unusual outlook that stems from his architectural studies. Kitsuné has gained considerable notoriety over the past five years for their collaborations with Pierre Hardy, Colette, APC, and Martin Margiela.
