Silvain Sylvian boasts a tailored style arranged in contemporary clothing. The design concept is based on the solid and guimic coexistence. Solid= a consistent design sparsely decorated and easy to wear. Guimic= detail of the "part not seen". No big theme is set for each season, but a detailed theme is set for each item. The harmonized line up results in consistent clothes made from an original point of view. Items are generated from the designer's (Tomoaki Matsumura) identity. His watchful eye overseas sizing, processing, graphic icons, and material which are then put together by precise needlework.
