Since its establishment in the 19th century, Lanvin, one of the time tested brands, has been on the frontline of the fashion industry. Lucas Ossendrijver has been assigned to men’s design since the 2006 Fall Winter season and has helped to reestablish the Lanvin name in the high end mens fashion world. With Ossendrijver's modern style, Lanvin’s inherited masterpieces have evolved into a perfect collaboration of modernization and tradition, called the new French Chic. This new style has had a great impact on many Lanvin faithfuls and their elegant and relaxed collections have attracted many new Lanvin fans. Raised in the Netherlands, and rooting himself in the fashion industry, Ossendrijver has had experience working under Hedi Slimane of the Dior Homme. Lanvin has always had a huge impact in women's fashion. Since 2002 Alber Elbaz has been managing the design of the ladies’ collection.
