It all started in 1853 when a man named Levi Strauss opened a dry goods wholesale business in San Francisco. In 1873 he and partner Jacob Davis invented the riveted blue denim work pant which would later be known as jeans. With an enduring style and practicality, now synonymous with the youthful spirit, for almost 130 years Levi's has created garments which continue to inspire, not imitate.
